What began as a passion for photography has grown into one of Oklahoma's trusted photo booth experiences. Long before launching Snap Me Crazy Photo Booths, owner David Tamez spent decades behind the camera capturing real moments as an award-winning television photojournalist, documentary producer, and storyteller. That experience taught him that the most meaningful photographs are often the unscripted ones—the laughter between friends, the excitement of a celebration, and the genuine emotions that happen when people simply enjoy being together.
When Snap Me Crazy was founded in 2014, the goal wasn't just to provide a photo booth. It was to create an experience that encourages people to connect, laugh, and create memories they can take home. From weddings and corporate events to school functions and family celebrations, every event is treated with the same level of care and professionalism that has guided David's career behind the camera.
Today, our team continues to serve clients throughout Oklahoma with a commitment to exceptional service, professional photography, and customized experiences that reflect each client's unique vision. For more than 40 years, Dave Tamez has worked as a professional photographer, videographer, editor, and storyteller. Throughout his career, he has earned multiple Emmy® Awards and has been honored with prestigious industry recognition, including the Edward R. Murrow Award and the George Foster Peabody Award for his coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing.
As a producer and photographer for KWTV 9 and Oklahoma's public television network, Dave has spent decades creating documentaries, capturing unforgettable moments, and telling stories through the lens of a camera.
That same commitment to quality photography and exceptional customer service is what inspired him along with his family to create Snap Me Crazy Photo Booths. Today, Dave combines professional studio lighting, DSLR photography, and years of experience to create photo booth experiences that are fun, engaging, and produce images guests are proud to keep.
